Pump Therapy Now Available In The Bahamas

In November, fifteen local physicians, including Dr. Graham Cates of Family Medicine Center, attended an educational dinner session on the Pump and Continuous Glucose Monitoring. The dinner was held at Luciano’s and was sponsored by Medtronic and the Diabetes Education Network.

Pump Therapy and Continuous Glucose monitoring is now available in The Bahamas, physicians no longer have to refer patients to the USA. This allows for a better adherence to care and improve outcomes.
